Sarvodaya Trading Co. is a testament to one man's unwavering dedication and a family's enduring legacy. Our journey began with the vision of our founder, who single-handedly nurtured this business like his own child. Born and raised in Jamnagar, Gujarat, he embarked on a path that led him to Mumbai at the age of 16.

In 1990, he took his first step towards entrepreneurship by establishing a daily food and grocery store in Mumbai under the name 'Sarvodaya Trading Co.' His commitment to his work was matched only by the support of his wife, Kiran Suresh Maru, who stood as his strongest pillar of strength.

The expansion continued with the establishment of a manufacturing unit in Bhiwandi, Thane, in 2012. Under the brand name 'Maru ManPasand,' we ventured into the production of whole and powdered spices. The journey was a family affair, with Kiran Suresh, Mosmi Maru, 32 (Eldest Daughter) Heteshvi Maru, 28 (Middle Daughter) & Meet Maru, 25 (Youngest Son) playing pivotal roles.

In 2018, our youngest son, Meet Suresh Maru, a BMS Graduate, joined the family business, further enriching our expertise. During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, we served NGOs, communities, and many more with a no-profit-no-loss business model.

Tragically, on 27th April 2021, we lost Suresh Maru. In the face of adversity, his son, Meet Maru, took the reins, becoming the CEO of Sarvodaya Trading Co. and steering the expansion of the 'Maru' brand.

Today, Sarvodaya Trading Co. is not just a business; it's a testament to the resilience and determination of a family. We continue to uphold the values and dedication that have been our foundation for over three decades."
